President Díaz-Canel to attend NAM´s Online Summit
Havana, 2 May 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, will participate in the Online Summit entitled "We stand together against COVID-19", convened by Azerbaijan in its capacity as Chair of the Non-Aligned Movement, in the format of a Contact Group, which comprises representatives from various regions making up the Movement.
The event, which will be held via videoconference on Monday, 4 May at 7 a.m. (Cuban local time), will be chaired by Azerbaijan´s President, Ilham Aliyev.
Cuban citizens stranded in Trinidad and Tobago return to Cuba on a humanitarian evacuation flight

A group of 31 Cuban citizens stranded in Trinidad and Tobago returned to the country, based on the regulations established by both countries as part of the plan to confront Covid-19. The return has been possible thanks to the coordinated effort between the Cuban and Trinidadian authorities, under strict compliance with internationally established standards.
