Ankara Hosts Solidarity Event with Cuba and Tribute to Army General Raúl Castro Ruz
The event “Why Do We Defend Raúl?” was held at the Nâzım Hikmet Cultural Center in Ankara, organized by the Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association on the occasion of the 95th birthday of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and to denounce the recent accusations made against him by the United States government.

It has issued an absurd accusation against Raúl Castro, alleging that he ordered the shootdown of two U.S. civilian aircraft in 1996, causing the deaths of four people.
