The government of the United States is earmarking millions of dollars to obstruct cuban medical cooperation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs energetically denounces and condemns the recent aggression of the government of the United States against Cuba via a USAID program designed to fund actions and information searches to discredit and sabotage the international cooperation being provided by Cuba in the health area in dozens of countries for the benefit of millions of persons.  This is an endeavor added to the crude pressures exercised against a number of governments in order to obstruct Cuban cooperation and to the earlier efforts for the same purpose such as the special “parole” program designe

The Ministry of Tourism of Cuba and Turkish Airlines sign a memorandum of understanding.

Havana, July 9, 2019. The Director General of Marketing of the Ministry of Tourism of Cuba (Mintur), Barbara Cruz, and the Vice President of Sales for The Americas of Turkish Airlines, Mustafa Dogan, signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding on the Taganana Room of the National Hotel of Cuba that will allow to strengthen the links in tourism and promote actions of mutual benefit between Cuba and Turkey.

Vice Minister of Health of Turkey reiterates interest in cooperating with the Cuban biopharmaceutical.

Ankara, May 29, 2019. The Vice Minister of Health of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Emine Alp Mese, received today at the headquarters of her ministry the Vice President of the Business Group BioCubaFarma, Dr. Mayda Mauri Pérez, who is visiting work in the Eurasian country to follow up and strengthen business in the biopharmaceutical sector between both countries. She was accompanied by Cuban ambassador Luis Amorós Núñez.

Cuban Ambassador meets with President of tourism operators of Turkey.

Istanbul, May 21, 2019. The Cuban ambassador to Turkey, Luis Amorós Núñez, held a meeting with the president of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB), Firuz B. Baglikaya. This entity brings together more than 10 thousand travel agencies and tour operators from Turkey and leads the tourism development of the Eurasian country, which is among the top eight receivers of tourists in the world.

Cuba and Turkey consolidate bilateral relations.

Havana, May 18, 2019. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, held talks in Havana with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, in which they analyzed projects to consolidate bilateral relations. In that meeting, he sent an invitation to the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, to visit Turkey.

Rodriguez Parrilla said that there is a great historical relationship between both countries and at the same time good potential to strengthen the bond that unites them.
