Association of Ugandan graduates in Cuba advocates for its strengthening.

Kampala. On the afternoon of February 26, the Association of Ugandan Graduates in Cuba called on its members to strengthen the influence of the organization in Ugandan society.

Roland Mukana Shimey, President of the Association, called for the initiation of a new stage of work that has as its axis the greatest cohesion of all generations of graduates in Cuba around solidarity with the Caribbean nation and to contribute with a greater knowledge of the Cuban reality in Ugandan youth.

Cuban Ambassador makes a courtesy call on the Chinese Ambassador.

Kampala. La Embajadora de Cuba, Tania Pérez Xiques, realizó una visita de cortesía al Sr. Zhang Lizhong, Embajador de China en Uganda.

El encuentro realizado en un ambiente de camaradería sirvió para actualizar sobre los esfuerzos y resultados de ambos países en materia de cooperación bilateral con Uganda.

Asimismo, el diplomático cubano explicó los desafíos que enfrenta Cuba para recuperar la economía nacional fundamentalmente dañada por el bloqueo estadounidense a Cuba que data de más de 60 años y la pandemia de la COVID-19.
