Kampala, September 30 - The President of the Global Pan-African Movement and Minister of the Interior, General (r) Kahinda Otafiire, sent a message of solidarity to the Cuban people, condemning the blockade and supporting the Government of Cuba, during a friendly and fruitful meeting held with the Cuban ambassador, in which they ratified the will to continue working together to strengthen the historic ties of friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Cuba and Uganda.

Kampala, September 25 - The Cuban ambassador Antonio l. Pubillones, received, in a courtesy visit, the new Rwandan ambassador in Kampala, H.E. Mr. Joseph Rutavana. In a cordial atmosphere, both parties exchanged on various topics of mutual interest and also took advantage of the occasion to review the current state and prospects for strengthening and expanding bilateral relations and the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries.

Kampala, September 3 - Friendly and fruitful meeting at the edge of yesterday noon with General Salim Saleh, Head of Operation Wealth Creation of Uganda, in which we exchanged on the perspectives of the economic-commercial collaboration between both countries and the expansion of cooperation to other sectors of interest to us, and we ratify our willingness to continue working together for the further strengthening of bilateral relations.
