Cuba reports 93 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours | MINSAP

Havana, August 10, 2020 -- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported 93 new cases detected yesterday of COVID-19, for a total of 3,046 positive cases across the island.

During his daily press briefing held Monday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up until 12 midnight Sunday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus. A total of 88 patients have died in Cuba over the past several months.

Cuba reports 54 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours

Havana, August 7, 2020.- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported 54 new cases detected yesterday of COVID-19, for a total of 2,829 positive cases across the island.

During his daily press briefing held Friday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up until 12 midnight Thursday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus. A total of 88 patients have died in Cuba over the past several months.

Henry Reeve medical contingent deployed in Togo to fight COVID 19 returns

Havana, August 6, 2020.- The contingent of the Henry Reeve Brigade that served at the Lomé Commune Regional Hospital Center, in Togo, returned to Cuba on Wednesday after three months of confronting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Upon their arrival at the José Martí International Airport in Havana the team was received by video conference by Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, who conveyed to the internationalists the gratitude and pride they represent for the country's top leadership and for the people in general.

Cuba reports 25 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours

Havana, August 5, 2020.- The National Director of Epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Francisco Duran, reported 25 new cases detected yesterday of COVID-19, for a total of 2,726 positive cases across the island.

During his daily press briefing held Wednesday morning, Dr. Duran said that over the past 24 hours -- up until 12 midnight Tuesday night -- fortunately, no patients died from the coronavirus. A total of 88 patients have died in Cuba over the past several months.
