While rejecting the politicization of sport and the boycott to which Beijing Olympic Winter Games have been subjected, which only affect their spirit of brotherhood and fraternity, we reaffirm our support for the event. We are convinced that it will be successful.
In the year of the tiger, we hope to continue promoting the historic and strong ties that unite Cuba and the People's Republic of China, geographically distant, but very close in the affection and friendship between their respective peoples and governments.
