The Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Teresita Vicente Sotolongo, gave a lecture on the occasion of the Labour’s Party Annual Conference of in Brighton. Denouncing the blockade, the permanent demand of devolution of the territory illegally occupied by the United States, Guantanamo Naval Base and the aggressive policy of the new host at the White House, Donald Trump, were among the topics reported by the Ambassador and panel members.

Glasgow’s Lord Provost Eva Bolander received the Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom Teresita Vicente and the Minister Counselor Antonio Rodriguez at Glasgow Government’s headquarters on November 9th, 2017, where they tackled the historic links between Glasgow and Havana, sister cities. Talks took place in a friendly atmosphere and both parties shared their interest to broadening relations.
The Ambassador thanked Glasgow authorities for their support to the accomplishment of Havana Film Festival every year.

Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Triumph of the October Socialist Revolution
Organized by the Revolutionary Communist Group (RCG), a massive activity took place last Saturday, October 14th, at the headquarters of the Central University of London, in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Triumph of the October Socialist Revolution. At the ceremony, Cuban Ambassador Teresita Vicente took the floor and answered questions from a young and active audience, eager to know the Cuban and Latin American reality, and made reference to the validity of Marxism-Leninism in our society nowadays.
