Díaz-Canel denounces persistent U.S. hostility against Cuba.

Cuba's President Miguel Díaz-Canel today denounced the persistent hostility of the United States against his country, a nation he described as truly independent, peaceful and supportive.

"The anti-Cuban machinery is determined to bring the Cuba issue to the U.S. electoral campaign, taking advantage of the corruption and lies of the process," the president said in his official account on X.

Worldwide rejection of Cuba's inclusion in the U.S. list grows.

Almost fifty governments of the world have rejected as of today the inclusion of Cuba in the State Department's list of countries that sponsor terrorism, informed the Foreign Ministry of this Antillean nation.

To the claim are added the repudiation pronouncements of movements, organizations, institutions, activists and international personalities, who qualify that designation as unjust and arbitrary, and denounce its consequences on the Cuban nation and families.

U.S. Catholic Bishops call for an end to Cuba's inclusion in the SSOT

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), through the chairman of the Justice and Peace Committee, Bishop Elias Zaidan, called today in the US capital to remove Cuba from the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism; as well as to begin the path of understanding for the benefit of the Cuban people.

Cuban delegations to the Olympic and Paralympic Games were flagged to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The delegations that will represent Cuba at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games were flag bearers today in this capital in a ceremony held at the Plaza de la Revolución.

Cuba calls for a World Peace Race.

The Cuban Sports Institute (Inder) and the South African Embassy in Cuba today called for the Mandela and Fidel Race for World Peace, to be held on July 20.

According to the digital site Jit, this event that pays tribute to the main political figures of both nations will be run in the facilities of the capital's Sports City and will be a qualifier for the Marabana 2024.

The director of the National Commission of Marabana-Maracuba Races and Walks, Carlos Gattorno, told Inder's official media that the 10-kilometer circuit will start and finish at the Sports City.
