Cuba and the United States, the bridge of poetry.

Poetry built bridges today between Cuba and the United States during a meeting in this capital under the title Poets Speak, with the participation of Nancy Morejon and E.Ethelbert Miller.

Morejon, one of the most relevant voices of Cuban and Latin American poetry, traveled to Washington DC in one of the stops of the tour that took her to the Poetry in April Festival, an international event held annually in Chicago (Illinois) and is recognized as the most outstanding literary event in Spanish in the Midwest (Midwest) of the United States.

FEU calls for an act of solidarity with U.S. university students.

Hundreds of students will ratify today the rejection of the university community in Cuba to the police repression against their counterparts in the United States for denouncing Israel's crimes in Palestine, announced the FEU.

According to information published by the Juventud Rebelde newspaper, the rally will take place this Friday at 5:00 (local time), on the steps of the University of Havana and foreign students studying here have also been summoned.

Díaz-Canel attends Cuba solidarity meeting in Havana.

President Miguel Díaz-Canel is attending today in Havana the closing session of the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba and against imperialism.

The meeting, held at the Havana Convention Palace, is attended by 1,144 trade union leaders from 58 countries, from 220 organizations, among them representatives of trade union centers, solidarity movements and political parties.

2020 Cuban embassy attack continues without U.S. condemnation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, denounced today that four years have passed since the attack on the Cuban embassy in Washington, without the US government declaring the act as terrorist.

The foreign minister pointed out on the social network X that during this period the perpetrator of the acts was not condemned either and warned that impunity encourages crime.

Cuba expresses its gratitude for the world solidarity against the US blockade.

Cuba's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, today thanked the demonstrations of solidarity with his country, which are carried out monthly by friends and compatriots in various regions of the world against the blockade imposed by the United States.

The head of Cuban diplomacy highlighted on the social network X that there have been more than three years of uninterrupted caravans against the blockade, in which the demands for an end to the hostile policy have not ceased.
