Cuban Foreign Minister Denounces Terrorist Attack Against the Cuban Embassy in the US

The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, denounced on his Twitter account a terrorist attack perpetrated on the night of Sunday, September 24 against the Cuban embassy in the United States. Apparently, an individual threw two Molotov cocktails. So far, no injuries to personnel have been reported and details are being clarified.

It is the second violent attack against the Cuban diplomatic headquarters in Washington since April 2020. On that occasion, an individual fired an assault rifle at the headquarters.

Solidarity rally called in front of the Cuban Embassy in the US

Representatives of solidarity organizations will gather on Sunday to express their support for Cuba in front of the Cuban Embassy in the United States, which was the victim of a terrorist attack on Sunday night.

Activist Calla Walsh, co-president of the National Network of Solidarity with Cuba, convened the rally, scheduled for Monday afternoon, at 5:30 p.m., local time, to bring flowers to the diplomatic headquarters in rejection of the new aggression and as a sign of support for the Caribbean island.

President Díaz-Canel exchanges with U.S. religious leaders

President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez held today in New York City, a cordial meeting with leaders of various Christian religious denominations in the United States.
Díaz-Canel thanked them for their expressions of solidarity and highlighted the initiatives developed by several religious organizations in favor of a respectful and constructive relationship between Cuba and the US and against the economic blockade.

Science also builds bridges between Cuba and the United States.

NEW YORK - Cuban and U.S. scientists have demonstrated over the years how much they can achieve when they join efforts and knowledge for the benefit of both peoples. The experiences shared in this city during a meeting of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, with U.S. professionals linked to science and technology ratifies this.
