The world reaffirms support for Cuba, demands an end to US blockade
United Nations, 7 November 2019. With the support of 187 of its member states, 3 against (US, Israel and Brazil), two abstentions (Ukraine and Colombia), the UN General Assembly adopted on Thursday a new resolution calling for an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
