The Cuban Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, Aramís Fuente Hernández, signed the book of condolences opened at the Apostolic Nunciature in Athens for the death of Pope Francisco. The Ambassador expressed to the Apostolic Nuncio, HE Excellency Archbishop Jan Romeo Pawlowski, his most sincere and heartfelt condolences on the death of Pope Francisco. In his message, the Ambassador also expressed that all humanity bears witness to his example and tenacious battle in defense of peace and fraternity among peoples. The Pope was also persistent and active in the search for solutions to the enormous problems facing the world. We Cubans, the message states, feel deeply honored by his visits to our country, and we will also remember Pope Francisco for his profound feelings of respect and love that he always professed for the people of Cuba.
