The digital era poses a scenario in which the technological hegemony of the right and ultra-right engenders genocidal wars and puts the lives of peoples at risk on a planetary level.
The fourth edition of the International Colloquium “Patria”, in the context of the 133rd anniversary of the newspaper founded by José Martí to which it owes its name and in celebration of 20 years of teleSUR, seeks to explore how the dynamics of power are being transformed in an interconnected world, in which along with the unprecedented possibilities of interaction and social exchange proliferate disinformation, hate speech and various forms of manipulation.
It will be held in Havana from March 17-19, 2024.
