Nairobi, October 18. Amina Mohamed, Secretary of the Cabinet for Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Kenya, welcomed the Cuban Ambassador to the country, Ernesto Gómez Díaz, at the Foreign Ministry headquarters today.
During the friendly meeting, the Kenyan Chancellor reiterated her country's support and solidarity towards Cuba and became interested in the process of recovery after the passing of Hurricane Irma, while referring to other issues on the national and international agenda.
On his part, the Cuban Ambassador, after handing over the Minister a letter from his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, thanked Kenya for its support in the fight against the blockade imposed by the United States against his country, and reiterated Cuba’s willingness to strength the existing relations of cooperation.
