Freetown, April 7, 2025.- The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Sierra Leone,
Her Excellency Norma Sánchez Águila, presented the Copies of her Credentials to the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Honorable Frances Piagie Alghali, at the Sierra Leonean Foreign Ministry in this capital.
The Acting Minister of the Sierra Leone Foreign Ministry welcomed the Cuban diplomat and wished her success in the performance of her duties. Meanwhile, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba expressed her satisfaction with her appointment to Sierra Leone, a country she admires and respects for its history and culture.
During the cordial meeting, topics of bilateral interest were discussed. The Cuban ambassador reaffirmed Cuba's willingness to continue developing and strengthening the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
