The Cuban diplomat thanked the Ambassador Witson T. Yankuba for his warm reception, reiterating her gratitude for the solidarity of the Sierra Leonean people with the Cuban people in their fight against the unjust and cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for some time. more than 60 years.

Head of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission referred to the current situation in Cuba due to the tightening of the blockade and the unilateral measures of the United States government towards the island, including the inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism. She conveyed the feelings of the Cuban people and the struggle they were waging in order to maintain their sovereignty and independence.
