Farewell from the minister of education of Zimbabwe to Cuban advisers
The Minister of Primary and Secondary Education of Zimbabwe, Dr. Lazarus Dokora, bid farewell to the Cuban advisers, Doctors Alberto Valle Lima and Pedro Luis Castro Alegret, who worked for a month with the authorities of the Ministry of Education of Zimbabwe in the Design of the Center for Research, Innovation and Education Development. (CERID).
In an activity attended by the Cuban ambassador Elio Savón and a number of senior officials of the ministry, the Minister praised the work carried out by Cuban specialists and thanked the island for its cooperation.
For his part, the Cuban ambassador recalled the importance that from the first years of the revolution the Cuban revolutionary government and especially the Commander Fidel gave to education and reiterated the willingness of his government to continue supporting Zimbabwe in that field.
During the ceremony, the Cuban scientists handed to the minister of the final project for the creation of CERID, thus successfully concluding cooperation executed with financing from the UNICEF office in Zimbabwe.
