HCIF-PFS VEHEMENT CONDEMN THE US BRUTAL INVASION OF THE SOVEREIGN STATE OF VENEZUELA
The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCIF-PFS) condemns in the strongest possible terms the United States brutal, illegal, unmandated, unprovoked and unwanted military invasion and aggression of Venezuela. The Trump Administration in Washington and its allies alone bear full responsibility for the invasion, which contravenes international law and regional security.
Venezuela is a peaceful, sovereign nation and the US must respect its territorial integrity. The US invasion started in the early hours of 2: am, on Saturday 3rd January, 2026.
This act of overt military aggression violates the sovereignty of an independent Venezuela, threatening stability across regional borders. We strongly urge the US to put an immediate end to its military operations and unconditionally withdraw its forces from the whole of the Caribbean region.
The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity emphatically opposes this unprovoked act of military aggression; that the war is based on such a distorted and tendentious greed and selfish ego makes it all the more deplorable. We vigorously support the Venezuelan nation and its people in their rejection of US war against their country.
President Donald Trump’s rhetorical premise for this brutal violation of Venezuela’s sovereignty is anchored on the vicious claims that the land and resources of Venezuela belong to the United States. Our thoughts are with the Venezuelan people, who are being subjected to horrific and brutal bomb attacks by US forces of aggression. We express our full support for the sovereignty of Venezuela and its people, and call on all the United Nations Security Council and other credible international instruments to meet immediately and this discuss this harmful act against the UN Charter and International Law.
We also give our full support to the country’s democracy and stand in solidarity with all Venezuelans who are now defending their country against the aggressors.
