Freetown, March 28 – Norma Sánchez Águila, Chargé d'Affaires, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sierra Leone, received a courtesy visit from the Director of Arts and Crat Group of Visual Artists of Sierra Leone, Ranya S. Nirvan. Present during her visit some artists from her team namely, Rakesh S. Nirvana, Felix Rhodes, Mustapha Marray-Conthe, Elissa Habib, and Shera Kallon.
At the Cuban Embassy, both parties held a cordial meeting, during which they highlighted the bonds of solidarity that unite both nations and reaffirmed their willingness to work together to promote cultural relations between Cuba and Sierra Leone.
The Cuban Ambassador expressed her gratitude for the visit to the Cuban embassy in Freetown and reiterated her willingness to work together with the Arts and Crat Group of Visual Artists of Sierra Leone , with the clear goal of disseminating the progress made by Cuban visual arts in this Country.
