Copenhagen, March 22, 2023. With the purpose of continuing to strengthen the ties of friendship that unite Cuba with the Nordic region, the Director of Europe of ICAP, Rigoberto Zarza Ross, and the specialist Elizabeth Ribalta, an official of the Directorate of Europe of the ICAP, paid a visit to the mayor's office of the city of Odense, on the Island of Fym, where they were received by the vice mayor Andreas Moller.
The ICAP delegation also participated in a meeting with the Cuban Dano Friendship Association in the city, who updated them on the situation in the country, the effects caused by the unfair US blockade, and the consequences of Cuba's inclusion in the list of state sponsors of terrorism. On the other hand, various topics of solidarity work were addressed to strengthen ties with the Island.
A key moment in his tour was his participation in the Nordic Solidarity Meeting with Cuba, which was based in Norway.
This is an opportunity to update friends on the challenges facing the Cuban Revolution; as well as to thank the support and solidarity that they offer to the Greater of the Antilles.
Zarza Ross' tour of the Scandinavian region covers Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark, countries where he will hold various political and diplomatic exchanges.
