July 26th Celebrated in Sierra Leone

The Cuban Embassy in Sierra Leone, led by Ambassador Norma Sanchez Aguila, commemorated the 73rd anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, a date that marked the beginning of the decisive phase of the revolutionary struggle in Cuba.

In the Centennial Year of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, we pay tribute to his historic legacy, reaffirming the enduring relevance of the ideals of independence, sovereignty, social justice, and solidarity that continue to guide the Cuban people.

The ceremony for National Rebellion Day was attended by members of the Sierra Leone–Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, members of the Hugo Chávez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship, and Solidarity, and graduates of Cuban universities.
