Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla attend the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting in New Delhi.

New Delhi, May 15, 2026 – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, led the Cuban delegation participating in the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held in New Delhi, India, on May 14-15.

During his remarks, the Minister denounced the tightening of the U.S. blockade policy against our country, particularly the oil embargo, as well as the growing escalation of threats of military aggression against Cuba by Washington.

He also highlighted the importance of BRICS as a voice of the Global South in condemning such actions, which violate international law, free trade, and the Charter of the United Nations.
