Havana, 2 October 2025.- The Minister of Communication and Civic Education of Sierra Leone, Chernor Abdulai Bah, visited the headquarters of Cubavisión Internacional and was received by the Director General, Bárbara Doval.
During the pleasant exchange, Minister Bah received information about the characteristics of the generalist media outlet, which broadcasts 24 hours a day via satellite and the internet to foreign countries on its various platforms, and spoke with journalists and designers about content management for the digital space.
Minister Abdulai Bah showed interest in the possibility of exchanging not only ways of doing things, but also audiovisual products, as Latin music and customs are popular in his country.
He highlighted the ties of solidarity, brotherhood and admiration that exist between the peoples of Cuba and Sierra Leone, which have had diplomatic relations since 1972.
In his conversation with the media outlet's management team, he expressed his gratitude for the welcome he received and said he was very impressed by the performance of the young people and women who work at Cubavisión Internacional.
Also participating in the meeting were Jorge Luis Cruz Bermúdez, director general of the Cuban News Channel, and Carlos Camps, director of international relations at the ICS.
