MNOAL Demands Respect for International Law in Venezuela

Caracas, July 20 (Prensa Latina) With an agenda focused on peace and respect for international law, the Non-Aligned Movement (Mnoal) will open in Caracas Saturday the discussions corresponding to the ministerial meeting of the body''s Coordinating Bureau.

After receiving several heads of delegations and dignitaries on Friday, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza stressed Mnoal's concern over the US position of trying to impose unilateralism and change governments by force in the interests of the US.

In this regard, the head of Venezuelan diplomacy pointed out that the Washington authorities are at the head of a continuous coup d'etat aimed at overthrowing the constitutional government of Venezuela.

Arreaza asserted that key documents will be presented at the ministerial meeting in order to revitalize the most deep values of the Movement, ratify the sovereignty of the peoples, the non-interference in internal affairs and the practice of peaceful solutions to existing conflicts in the international arena.

'We have welcomed several foreign ministers who come to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Mnoal Coordinating Bureau to further revitalize the international community on the Bandung principles,' Arreaza added.

The Venezuelan FM welcomed his counterparts from Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez; Iran, Javad Zarif; Palestine, Riad Al Malki; Nicaragua, Denis Moncada; Bolivia, Diego Pary; Antigua and Barbuda, Chet Greene; and Suriname, Yldiz Pollack, at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia on Friday.

The Non-Aligned Movement is the second most important and relevant international organization after the United Nations.

This forum fosters respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations, recognition of the equality of all races, and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
