NAMIBIANS DEMAND CUBA BE EXCLUDED FROM US LIST.

The San Nujoma Foundation rejected the inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism drawn up by the United States government, according to reports today.
A publication in X by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Antillean nation confirms this and also disseminates the statement issued by the Namibian entity.

This is a letter addressed to the US president, Joe Biden, in which he also condemns Washington's hostility towards the Cuban people.

"Keeping Cuba on the list of Sponsors of Terrorism is a coercive measure that is difficult to justify in the 21st century when equality between States must be guaranteed," he said.

The non-profit Foundation was established in honour of the former President of Namibia, in line with the identified African development challenges and the critical role that leaders are called upon to play in addressing them at both national and regional levels, in accordance with its founding principles.
