Belgrado, 17 de febrero de 2024. En una conferencia virtual, el viernes 16 de febrero, la vicepresidenta primero del Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP, Noemí Rabaza, y el director de Europa, Rigoberto Zarza, explicaron a más de 50 organizaciones amigas, las prioridades y acciones del movimiento de solidaridad con Cuba, durante el 2024, junto a la participacion de la mayor cantidad de personalidades políticas, parlamentarios, sindicales, científicos y de la cultura.
Se mencionaron las principales brigadas internacionales de trabajo voluntario de este año, en los meses de abril-mayo, julio y diciembre, y la celebración del VIII Seminario Internacional de la Paz y por la Abolición de las Bases Militares Extranjeras, del 30 de abril al 7 de mayo, en las que podrán participar las asociaciones de solidaridad con delegaciones, jóvenes estudiantes, profesores, sindicalistas, entre muchas otras actividades que mostrarán la solidaridad política y económica hacia el pueblo de Cuba.
Durante este año, las organizaciones solidarias con Cuba, darán continuidad a la sentencia del Tribunal Internacional de Bruselas, que condenó el genocida bloqueo de los Estados Unidos contra Cuba, y prepararán las condiciones para la realización del próximo Encuentro Europeo de Solidaridadad con Cuba, a celebrarse en París, del 22 al 24 de noviembre, en la sede del Partido Comunista de Francia, en el que se espera una numerosa participación de organizaciones del Movimiento de Solidaridad con Cuba en Europa.
Se produjo también un interesante debate con los representantes de las asociaciones de solidaridad europeas, las que ratificaron que el 2024 será un año decisivo en la lucha contra el bloqueo y la arbitraria inclusión de Cuba en la lista de paises patrocinadores del terrorismo, asi como para ampliar y consolidar la solidaridad politica y económica con el pueblo de Cuba.

In a virtual conference, the first vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Noemí Rabaza, and the director of Europe, Rigoberto Zarza, explained to more than 50 friendly organizations the priorities and actions of the solidarity movement with Cuba, during 2024, together with the participation of the largest number of political, parliamentary, union, scientific and cultural personalities.
The main international volunteer work brigades of this year were mentioned, in the months of April-May, July and December, and the celebration of the VIII International Seminar on Peace and for the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases, from April 30 to May 7, in which solidarity associations will be able to participate with delegations, young students, teachers, union members, among many other activities that will show political and economic solidarity towards the people of Cuba.
During this year, the organizations in solidarity with Cuba will continue the ruling of the International Court of Brussels, which condemned the genocidal blockade of the United States against Cuba, and will prepare the conditions for the holding of the next European Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, will be held in Paris, from November 22 to 24, at the headquarters of the Communist Party of France, in which a large participation of organizations from the Cuban Solidarity Movement in Europe is expected.
There was also an interesting debate with the representatives of the European solidarity associations, who ratified that 2024 will be a decisive year in the fight against the blockade and the arbitrary inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, as well as for expand and consolidate political and economic solidarity with the people of Cuba.
