The Lao PDR expresses deep concern regarding information related to the ongoing situation in Venezuela.
The Lao PDR calls upon all parties concerned to strictly adhere to international law and Charter of the United Nations, including the principle of respect for national sovereignty, and to refrain from the use or threat of force in international relations.
The Lao PDR urges all parties concerned to exercise restraint, engage in constructive dialogue to resolve disputes and differences in accordance with international law, thereby fostering peace, security, stability, and cooperation in the region and the world at large.
