Embassy of Cuba in India participates in India International Rice Summit 2026

Chattisgarh, January 10, 2025- During the recent edition of India International Rice Summit, Cuba was represented by the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in India, Guadalupe Frometa, at the forum that promoted exchanges with producers and exporters ofbasmati from India. For two days, trends in demand for the different varieties of non-basmati rice on the international market, production technologies, supply chains, new regional markets and opportunities for collaboration were discussed.

Participa Embajada de Cuba en India en India International Rice Summit 2026

Chattisgarh, 10 de enero de 2025- Durante la reciente edición de India International Rice Summit, Cuba estuvo representada por la Segunda Secretaria de la Embajada de Cuba en India, Guadalupe Frometa, en el foro que promovió intercambios con productores y exportadores de arroz no-basmati de la India. Durante dos jornadas, se debatieron tendencias en torno a la demanda de las distintas variedades de arroz no basmati en el mercado internacional, tecnologías de producción, cadenas de suministros, nuevos mercados regionales y posibilidades de colaboración.

From the House of the Americas we strongly reject the military aggression perpetrated by the US government against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. 
It is imperative that all men and women of goodwill in the world mobilize to denounce and condemn this terrible affront to the peace of Our America.
It is obvious that imperialism seeks to seize the natural resources of the Latin American country, steal its oil, without putting at risk the peace of the world, nor the lives of the Venezuelans.
