Freetown, 17 de enero de 2025. La alcaldesa de Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr OBE, recibió a la Jefa de la Misión Diplomática cubana, Embajadora Norma Sánchez Águila, con quien sostuvo un fluido diálogo sobre diversos temas de interés.
Durante el diálogo, la alcaldesa ofreció un resumen de los trabajos de la municipalidad para mejorar las condiciones de la capital del país y su lucha a favor del mejoramiento del medio ambiente. Por su parte el diplomático cubano se refirió a las experiencias de la capital cubana en esos temas.
Freetown, January 17, 2025. The mayor of Freetown, Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr OBE, received the Head of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission, Ambassador Norma Sánchez Águila, with whom she held a fluid dialogue on various topics of interest.
During the dialogue, the mayor offered a summary of the municipality's work to improve conditions in the country's capital and its fight to improve the environment. For his part, the Cuban diplomat referred to the experiences of the Cuban capital on these issues.
