Namibia despide a su presidente Dr. Hage Geingob

“Nos duele profundamente despedir a Hage G. Geingob, presidente de Namibia y entrañable amigo de Cuba. Recordaré siempre su cálida acogida cuando visité la hermana nación africana y todo lo que hizo a favor de las históricas relaciones de hermandad entre nuestros pueblos”, publicó hoy en su cuenta de twitter el presidente cubano Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, minutos después de que se conociera la noticia del fallecimiento del líder africano este domingo, a las 00:04 horas, en el Hospital Lady Pohamba de Windhoek.

Dear comrades and Friends,

The Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association is profoundly honoured to participate at this 7th Africa-Cuba Solidarity Conference.

First of all, we thank the African National Congress for hosting this solidarity Conference with the people of Cuba; as well as for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to us since our arrival in South Africa. We truly feel at home away from home!

We also congratulate the African National Congress in celebrating its glorious 112th anniversary and selfless struggle.
