There is a willingness to strengthen relations between the Institutes of Foreign Affairs of Cuba and Laos

Vientiane, April 2023.  The Director General of the Institute of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, Ms. Vithaya Xayavong, received the Ambassador of Cuba Excma Enna Viant on a courtesy visit. Both parties reviewed the state of relations since the signing of the MoU between the Lao Institute of Foreign Relations and its Cuban counterpart, the "Raúl Roa Garcia" Higher Institute of International Relations, last year and expressed interest to cooperate and strengthening institutional ties.
