As a new January 28th and the commemoration of the 172nd anniversary of the birth of our Apostle, José Martí, approaches, we call upon all those who feel they are heirs of Martí, whether they live in Cuba or not, of any generation, to honor the presence of Martí in their lives, in their daily lives, in their families or communities, in their dreams, in their imagination.

Cubans in Barbados commemorate the 172nd anniversary of the birth of José Martí with a strong condemnation of the blockade policy.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Barbados hosted yesterday afternoon, January 25, the commemoration of the 172nd anniversary of the birth of our Apostle, José Martí. We were accompanied in this evening by a representation of the membership of the Association of Cuban Residents “Martyrs of Barbados”, friends of solidarity, the Pan-Africanist Movement and members of the State Mission. All together we paid tribute to a man of universal thought and very advanced for his time, our José Martí.
