Kangamba, Africa Day in Zimbabwe, and Cuba's Resolve Against the US Threat

Harare, May 20, 2026 – Cuba celebrated Africa Day in Zimbabwe with a screening of the film “Kangamba,” which highlights the island's internationalist cooperation and its resolve to defend its homeland against threats of US military aggression.

A hundred guests, including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Parliament, and ambassadors and diplomats from some twenty countries, attended the event at the Alliance Française in Harare, organized jointly by the Cuban and Angolan missions.

African Youth Congress Condemns US Aggression Against Venezuela

Harare, January 5, 2026 - The African Youth Congress (AYC) today strongly condemned the United States' aggression against Venezuela and the criminal kidnapping of constitutional president Nicolás Maduro.

This act did not occur in isolation. It followed a sustained and deliberate campaign of aggression against Venezuela, which included the blocking of its oil shipments and pirate confiscations by the United States.

Cuban Ambassador Attends Regional Conference on African Roads

Liberia hosted the 22nd Regional Conference on Road Construction and Maintenance, where participants, including political leaders and technical experts, acknowledged Monrovia's political will to unite efforts, strengthen the continental cooperation plan, and exchange experiences on this vital issue, given the significant challenges posed by climate change.

Cuba thanks the government of Kenya for its cooperation

Comrade Lazo confirmed the spirit of cooperation shown by the government of Kenya and appreciated its understanding of this sensitive and painful matter. The information obtained is being currently processed by the authorities in charge of following up on such a thorough and important investigation. Meanwhile, procedures are being followed with several governments and international actors in search for cooperation and further clarification.

The president tweeted on occasion of the celebration of Africa Day stressing that the continent demands 'centuries of attention' and the cooperation of all countries.

LIBERIA, September 17, 2019 - The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Henry B. Fahnbulleh, received on Tuesday the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Rogelio Sierra Díaz, who is making a working visit to this country.

During the cordial meeting, both parties committed themselves to consolidate bilateral relations in the political-diplomatic and cooperation fields. They also exchanged on issues of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.

The Liberian Deputy Minister was accompanied by officials from the Liberian Foreign Ministry.
