The 30th Anniversary of Ottawa-Cuba Connections, an organization that since its creation in 1993 has shown its unconditional support to the people of Cuba, was celebrated at the Embassy of Cuba in Canada.
The expressions of solidarity of the members of Ottawa-Cuba Connections toward our country have been diverse, as evidenced by the delivery of donations in adverse situations, the support for the return of the child Elián González, the release of the Cuban five heroes imprisoned in the U.S., and the constant struggle for the end of the genocidal blockade of the U.S. government against our country.
Under stormy weather and regardless of the extreme climate conditions, the friends from this organization have been attending the Bridges of Love Caravans, the rallies and monthly events as a demonstration of their support to the struggle of our people.
Thirty years after its founding, we express our gratitude to each and every one of the people who have been members of it, and to the younger ones who join, reaffirming once again that Cuba is not alone!
