The city of Montreal hosted, this Saturday, the XVIII National Meeting of Cubans Residing in Canada, which was attended by members of associations from all over the country and was dedicated to José Martí, Cuba's National Hero, 130 years after his fall in combat and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Canada.
Just two days before the 130th anniversary of the fall in combat of our National Hero José Martí, representatives of Cuban associations from all over the country will meet in Montreal to take stock of the work done in the last year and proposals for the future, as well as to discuss the main events of the current national situation.
Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The U.S. government once again discredits itself by unjustly including Cuba on the List of countries that “do not fully cooperate with its anti-terrorism efforts”.
Once again, the State Department turns the fight against international terrorism into a unilateral political exercise against countries that do not bow to its hegemonic interests.
