XVIII National Meeting of Cubans Residing in Canada

Just two days before the 130th anniversary of the fall in combat of our National Hero José Martí, representatives of Cuban associations from all over the country will meet in Montreal to take stock of the work done in the last year and proposals for the future, as well as to discuss the main events of the current national situation.

The Canadian Network on Cuba sent to Cuba a donation of 30,000 surgical sutures and 10,000 electrodes for electrocardiograms, delivered by the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) to the Ministry of Public Health.

This container, shipped from China and then sailed to the Greater Antilles, spent months traveling to avoid millionaire fines, due to the hostile policy implemented by the U.S. government against the island.

III International José Martí Colloquium for a culture of nature is called for

From January 27 to 30, 2026, in Havana, Cuba, the III José Martí International Colloquium for a Culture of Nature will be held. This colloquium was convened for the first time in 2004, with the support of the José Martí Project for International Solidarity, registered with UNESCO in the same year, and is called to become a space for exchange and rapprochement in which people of good will converge again to reflect on the relationship Human Being-Nature.
