Addis Ababa, January 1st 2021. The Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia commemorated the 62 anniversary of the Cuban Revolution with the Cuban community in the capital of this country.
During his address to the gathering, the Cuban Ambassador to the African Union who is currently also the Chargé d´Affairs a.i., to Ethiopia, H.E. Mr. Angel Villa, highlighted the historic significance of the Cuban Revolution, its achievements and challenges in the current juncture of the pandemic of COVID-19 and the reinforced US blockade.
The diplomat encouraged the Cubans working in Ethiopia to do their best in the performance of their duties, as a contribution to the new transformations that are taking place in Cuba which will guarantee a better country for the present and future generations.
