Monrovia, May 22, 2024 - Cuba, represented by its Head of Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, joined African friends to celebrate Africa Day.
During the celebration, the dean of the diplomatic corps and Ambassador of Cameroon referred to the importance of the date for all the inhabitants of the African continent.
The occasion was propitious to taste typical African dishes, enjoy their customs and culture in general.
May 25 is a day to think even more about the oldest populated continent in the world, our mother earth. A day to move our thoughts to an area very rich in culture, colors and spirit.
On this new Africa Day, we will renew our friendship and fraternity with the sister continent to which we are bound by ties of blood, culture and history.
