Addis Ababa, February 7, 2021. The 34 Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of Africa passed a "Resolution on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States of America".

By twelve consecutive occasions, the African Union has expressed its rejection to the sanctions on Cuba, as a demonstration of the unanimous position of the regional block on the matter.  All UN African Member States support the United Nation Resolution against the blockade.
