The president of the information network, Ghassan Ben Jeddou, thanked Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel for his congratulations to this communication platform on its tenth anniversary.

"President Miguel Díaz-Canel, thank you very much for your beautiful congratulations on the tenth anniversary of the launch of the Al Mayadeen information network. This pan-Arab network is an organically linked part of the Global South. We have known you, President, for years and we know of your remarkable simplicity and your tireless struggle to build the future of Cuba and your welcome for honest and courageous media," says the communiqué of the pan-Arab satellite news network Al Mayadeen.

The document also expresses the affection of the entire Al Mayadeen work group for the Cuban president as the worthy successor of the historic and internationalist leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and its faithful defender, Raúl Castro.

"As we enter our second decade, we assure you that we stand firm in our journalistic, civilisational and strategic principles, and that we will remain at the side of human beings everywhere, and above all, of the great Cuban people, its Revolution and its firm leadership in the face of injustice, blockade and subversion," the media outlet's communiqué states.

It also reports on the premiere of a documentary series produced by Al Mayadeen. "Soon the whole world will discover a documentary series on the Cuban revolution, which our channel has produced, which shows the scope of the greatness of this human revolution and the heroic people of the West Indian island".

"On behalf of all the children of Al Mayadeen who will never forget the position of Cuba and of his person in particular on the side of the just causes of the peoples, especially for the liberation of Palestine from the clutches of the brutal Israeli occupation, we wish to reiterate our gratitude, affection and respect for his initiative towards us," concludes the communiqué thanking the Cuban president.
