The All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) sent a message of solidarity and support to the Cuban people on the occasion of the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada Garrison on July 26, National Rebellion Day.

In its message, the Indian trade union organization condemned the aggressions and the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the government of the United States against Cuba and demanded an end to this unjust and inhuman policy.

The national secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress, Vahidha Nizam, saluted the resilient Cuban people and called Cuba a beacon of the world proletarian revolution.
