Cuba participates in IA Global Summit in New Delhi

February 20, 2026, New Delhi - A Cuban delegation led by Cuba’s Communications Minister, Mayra Arevich Marín, is participating in the Artificial Intelligence World Summit, AI Global Summit. During the event, one of the most notable welcomed in India about the impact of Artificial Intelligence on new technologies and their equitable and responsible use, the Minister of Communications of Cuba denounced the economic blockade, commercial and financial imposed by the United States as the main obstacle to the digital and technological development of the country.

Cuba was present at the inauguration of the International Conference on Development and Democracy.

Kerala, February 17th 2026- Cuba was present at the inauguration of the International Conference on Development and Democracy. Along with H. E. Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, honourables Ministers and high representatives, Cuban delegation represented by Ms. Aymee Díaz Negrín, Coordinator of Global South team of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, was present at the opening ceremony of the International Conference of Development and Democracy Kerala Vision 2031.

Havana, January 31, 2026 -  Numerous organizations around the world have reaffirmed their firm support for Cuba in the defense of its national sovereignty and security, in the face of new measures and pressures from the United States government against the island, insisting that Cuba is not a threat to the United States, but a symbol of solidarity and anti-imperialist resistance.
