Geneva, 11 April 2026. - The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, held a meeting with the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric. Both sides noted the smooth nature of bilateral exchanges and the good state of existing relations.

This event was convened by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Government of Mexico, as part of the Global Initiative to Advance IHL.

Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the attacks perpetrated on February 28 by the United States and Israel, which violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
