Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba
Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the attacks perpetrated on February 28 by the United States and Israel, which violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.
The attacks carried out on February 28 by Israel and the United States, violating Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity, constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter.
They ruin, for the second time, diplomatic efforts regarding the nuclear issue and endanger regional and international peace and security. The effects already being felt in that troubled region are evidence of this.
The international community must act immediately to stop this aggression and an escalation, given its unpredictable consequences.
