The Ambassador of Cuba to Austria His Excellency Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios expressed the gratitude of the Cuban Government and people to the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration, and Foreign Affairs of this country, Her Excellency Ms. Karin Kneissl for her message of condolences on the occasion of the unfortunate air crash occurred in Havana on 18 May 2018.
In the Minister´s Twitter account shared in her account of the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration, and Foreign Affairs she expressed: “My condolences to all families and friends of the victims of the tragic plane crash in #LaHabana. I also wish a speedy recovery to those injured”.
In today´s meeting on the occasion of the commemorative event on the 25th anniversary of the World Conference on Human Rights celebrated in Vienna, the Minister reiterated to the Cuban Ambassador her condolences at the time she appeared highly sensitive for the loss of so many lives caused by the tragic accident.
