100 kilograms of Medicines for Cuba from Slovenia

Ljubljana, April 28, 2026.—A group of five Slovenian students departed today for Havana with a valuable shipment of aid: approximately 100 kilograms of medicines, nutritional supplies, water purification tablets, and infant formula.

“My Signature for the Homeland”: Support from Austria for the Defense of Cuba

Vienna,  April 23. The staff of the Cuban Embassy in Austria joined the popular movement “My Signature for the Homeland,” through which they endorsed the Revolutionary Government’s declaration: “Girón is today and forever!”

Reiterating the Cuban people’s commitment to peace, the members of the diplomatic mission reaffirmed their determination to defend the homeland as the greatest honor and supreme duty of every Cuban.

Meeting Confirmed Between Cuba and US Officials

Alejandro García del Toro, general deputy director of United States affairs at Cuba’s Foreign Ministry (MINREX) confirmed recent foreign press reports on meetings between US and Cuba’s officials in Havana.
 “It’s a thorny topic that, as we have said, we have managed discreetly,” he said.
The Cuban official confirmed that undersecretaries from the U.S. State Department met with a Cuban delegation led by a deputy minister of foreign relations.

Cuba Submits Its Third National Report to the Convention on Nuclear Safety

Vienna, April 17. During the Tenth Review Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention on Nuclear Safety, held at the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from April 13 to 24, 2026, Cuba presented its Third National Report, in strict compliance with its international commitments regarding nuclear safety.
