US Military Deployment in the Caribbean Sea Threatens the Region Under Absurd Pretexts

The Cuban Government strongly rejects the current deployment of United States military forces in the Caribbean Sea. This dangerous action represents a serious threat and an aggressive show of force against the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. Furthermore, it ignores the commitment of the 33 Member States of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States when they proclaimed the region as a Zone of Peace.

Ambassador of Cuba visits the Austrian State Archive

Vienna, August 25, 2025. - The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, today paid a working visit to the Austrian State Archive.

Upon being received by officials of this important Austrian institution, the Ambassador called to explore and establish cooperation links between this prestigious institution and its Cuban counterparts.

Cuban ambassador meets with head of international affairs of the Austrian Parliament

Vienna, August 21, 2025. - The Cuban Ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, held a working meeting with Ms. Petra Rund, Head of the Department of International Affairs of the Parliamentary Directorate of the Austrian Parliament.

This meeting is part of the promotion of bilateral relations developed by the Cuban Embassy in Austria, including the promotion of inter-parliamentary relations and between the Secretariats of the parliaments of both countries.

Cuban Ambassador meets with Ombudsman in Austria

Vienna, August 20, 2025 - The Cuban Ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, held a meeting with Mr. Bernhard Achitz, Austrian Ombudsman.

As part of the efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, the meeting analyzed the various possibilities of cooperation that can be established between the Austrian institution and the Ombudsman's Office in Cuba, which was created in 2023.
