Vienna, August 27, 2025.- The Ambassador of Cuba in Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, held a fruitful working meeting with comrade Martin Konecny, federal responsible for the area of education of the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ).
Developing ways of collaboration that allow a mutual enrichment in the theoretical and conceptual field, of the PCC and the KPÖ, were among the main topics that were discussed. In addition, a substantial exchange was held on the Cuban reality and the challenges it faces, including the impact of the blockade and the permanence of Cuba on the illegal list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism.
The meeting reaffirms Cuba's willingness to promote and consolidate ties with Austrian political and social forces, reaffirming the principle of internationalist solidarity that characterizes the Island's foreign policy.
