Ljubljana, 8 October 2018. The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Slovenia, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios was received by the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Ms. Simona Leskovar on the occasion of his visit to the capital of this European country.
The Cuban Ambassador took advantage of the occasion to congratulate Ms. Leskovar for her latest appointment, at the time he thanked for the hospitality and the usual deference by the Government side and the Slovenian authorities during his visits as a non-resident ambassador to that country.
The courtesy call took place in a cordial atmosphere where both parties underlined the historical ties of friendship and cooperation and the good state of the steady diplomatic relations which reached the 25th anniversary last year.
