Havana, December 12, 2024.- The Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Cuba, H.E. Mr. Ayele Lire, visited the House Museum of Africa of the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana where he was received by its director, Mr. Alberto Granado Duque.
During the meeting, the director of the center, Mr. Granado, informed the Ambassador about the objectives and activities of the African House-Museum, explaining that it is a center that promotes African culture and history, as well as exhibitions that demonstrate the influence of African culture on Cuban culture.
House-Museum, in addition, educates young children about the historical relationship of Africa with Cuba.
The Ambassador was accompanied during the visit by members of the Diplomatic Mission and the Ambassadors-designate of Cuba to Ethiopia and the African Union, Ms. Meylin Suárez and Mr. Lucas D. Hernández.
